Krispy Kreme's Baked Creations

Morning is wonderful. Its only drawback is that it comes at such an inconvenient time of day

That according contemporary American science fiction writer, Glen Cook. He couldn't have said that better. Honestly, I'm a morning person. I love how the sun stoops down and kisses my skin, love how the cool breeze sighs and tell me where he's been. It's an amazing feeling, if only I could be awake or less grumpy when that happens. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day (trust me, I'm a nursing student! ;P) and I enjoy it alot. But then again, I dont always have breakfast in the morning. Krispy Kreme, my fave donut place, released a variant of their Baked Creations a while back and everything just makes me want to WAKE UP and EAT THEM IN THE MORNING (or Brunch seems fine too)

Oh yeah, a deserted Krispy Kreme is hard to find, so I definitely had to snap this photo! Anyway, their Brunch creations include the following:

• Klassic Brioche - "a tight classic French bread with a slightly sweet taste"
• Klassic Brioche with Ham - obviously a Klassic Brioche. With ham. lol
• Custard Kreme - "sweet dough bread topped with creamy custard"
• Honey Camembert - "sweet dough bread with camembert cheese and honey, topped with roasted wallnuts"
• Cube Bread - "a light, slightly sweet bread filled with chocolate ganache"

Which is which, you ask? Well, The box-looking ones are obviously the Cube bread, clockwise: Custard Kreme, Klassic Brioche and Honey Camembert. The Klassic Brioche is not in the photo since they didn't have it when I came to pay my respects to bread royalty, but the jolly crew told me it's their best-seller (poohoo). Anyway, this fat cow enamored with cheese (I'm a dairy girl) obviously recommends the Honey Camembert. Perfect with a full shot of KK's Signature coffee to start your day right! (Or if you're like me, your midday right!) It's best enjoyed when hot and gives you the warmest morning feeling. The ganache in the Cube Bread is the perfect kind of sweet to compliment the coffee.

And obviously, I couldn't help myself. I can't go to KK and not get a donut! I tried the much anticipated Premium Chocolate Creations and I definitely recommend for you to do the same. I was only able to try the Choco & Biscuit and Fruit & Nut variant but I have no doubt in my mind, these two are my new favorite KK donuts!
